I think this is a better walkthrough, though they're both right...this one is just easier to understand (and hopefully solve your present problem.)

Cutieboots - Don't worry about it; just drag your mouse off the screen to see it, then try to level it up with the GREEN button. (When you put it on the screen, it'll disappear again, but just click your way down the line until you hit that button).
